As of 12 am, 30th of March, 2020, a total of 7443 people have tested positive for the COVID-19 disease in Portugal, meaning there was an increase of 1035 new cases since yesterday. Currently, 627 people are being treated at the hospital, and of those 188 are in the ICU (intensive care unit).

Since the 1st of January, a total of 52086 people have been tested, of which 40033 have tested negative and 4610 are still awaiting test results. There are still 19260 people who are being monitored by the authorities, on suspicion of being infected.

Until now, we register 160 deaths and 43 patients have recovered from the infection. Of these, we have 83 deaths and 16 recovered cases in the North region, 40 deaths and 10 recovered cases in the Center region, 35 deaths and 17 recovered cases in the Lisbon and Tejo Valley region and 2 deaths in the Algarve region.
